Creatives: The seminal Ira Glass quote (you know the one I’m talking about) has been animated. And it holds up.

last post of the day….maybe.
just in honor of my recent appreciation of older music.
on top of that I’ve also developed an appreciation of SOME country sounding music.
One of these appreciations concerns me more than the other….
the first day in July..
Today I made this stuffed pasta stuff. The actual name of it was something like “jumbo stuffed pasta” which makes me question its promise of it being “authentic italian”. I’m pretty sure Italians would give it a cooler name…maybe a name thats actually italian. Anyway, so I made this with the help of family:) and also some carrot cake…with the help of the some store bought mix.

Homemade Pizza…crust and all.
So the other day I was really craving pizza for lunch. I just happen to really dislike fast food pizza…so I challenged myself to make some from scratch. It turned out really well and tastes about 100x better than Domino’s or something. I was excited about it:) and yes, we used little kid animal shaped plates to eat it. My plate was shaped like a whale. :)

in fields of green…with quiet streams

these pictures were taken around sunset near my house.
also…you should probably listen to “The House of God Forever” by Jon Foreman
on a different note: This is what we had for dinner tonight! Hooray! breakfast at night!

this was and omelet sandwish:) Clearly…I fail at making omelets in the normal omelet shape (see above for proof)…but it doesn’t matter:) tastes the same either way. I put salsa and spinach leaves on it. My dad made grits:) Which is a Southern thing…but also pretty awesome
Have a lovely day!
